Refunds and cancellations
These terms apply to paid consulting engagements with App Architects — dependency mapping, bottleneck assessment, pre-release review, and architecture health checks.
Eligibility overview
Fees are tied to scheduled professional time and prepared analysis work. Refunds depend on how much work has started, how close the kickoff date is, and whether materials or travel were already committed for an on-site Seoul workshop.
Deposits
Engagements typically require a deposit stated in the statement of work, often thirty percent of the quoted fee, to reserve dates. Deposits secure calendar time and preparation; they are not a separate product purchase.
Cancellation by you
- More than fourteen days before the agreed kickoff: full refund of fees paid, minus any non-recoverable third-party costs already incurred with your written approval (for example prepaid meeting space).
- Between fourteen and seven days before kickoff: fifty percent refund of fees paid for unused portions; deposit may be retained as a cancellation fee.
- Fewer than seven days before kickoff, or after kickoff materials collection has begun: no refund for time already reserved or work already started; unused future phases may be credited toward a reschedule within three months if we agree in writing.
Rescheduling
You may request one reschedule without penalty if you give at least ten days’ notice and a new date is available within three months. Later or repeated reschedules may incur a rescheduling fee described in the statement of work.
No-shows
If your named contacts do not attend scheduled workshops without twenty-four hours’ notice, that session is treated as delivered. We are not obliged to refund the related fee portion.
Work already started
Once evidence review, mapping, or draft findings have begun, fees for completed stages are non-refundable. Partial refunds, if any, apply only to clearly unused later stages listed in the statement of work.

- Completed findings workshops and delivered written reports
- Custom diagrams already shared with your team
- Approved third-party costs (travel booked at your request, specialized meeting facilities)
Cancellation by App Architects
If we must cancel due to illness, conflict, or other cause on our side and cannot offer a suitable alternate date, you receive a full refund of amounts paid for undelivered work.
Refund process and timing
Email contact@apparchitects.digital with your organization name, statement of work reference, and reason for the request. We confirm eligibility within five business days. Approved refunds are returned by the original payment method within fifteen business days where the payment provider allows.
Method
Refunds are issued to the payer on record. We do not process card checkout on this website; offline invoices follow the banking details on your statement of work.
